What we do
Logistics around treatment, never instead of it.
InfiniaTrips arranges the travel side of medical journeys to India for international patients and their families. The hospital and your doctors handle everything clinical; we make sure getting there, staying and getting home are calm and well ordered.
We arrange
- Visa checklists for the patient and attendants, and the hospital letter request
- Flights with flexible fares where dates may move
- Meet-and-assist at arrivals, with airline wheelchair requests made in advance
- Transfers in vehicles suited to the patient, from seat height to boot space
- Stays near the hospital, verified for access and longer stays
- Interpreters, local SIMs, currency and the companion’s day-to-day needs
We never
- Recommend treatments, doctors or hospitals on clinical grounds
- Promise outcomes, success rates or recovery times
- Ask for diagnoses, reports or scans through public forms
- Quote treatment prices; hospitals do that directly
- Book a return flight before your treating team clears you to fly
The service journey
Seven stages, one coordinator.
From the first question to the flight home, the same named person keeps the plan together. Each stage shows who leads it.
-
Discover
YouTell us where you are travelling from, the city you are considering and who will come with you. No reports or diagnosis are needed at this stage.
-
Connect
Coordinator + hospitalWith your consent, we put you in touch with the international patient desks of the hospitals you choose, through a channel separate from this website. Clinical questions go to them directly.
-
Propose
CoordinatorOnce the hospital has given you a treatment plan and estimate, we propose the travel around it: dates with buffer days, flights, a stay, transfers and companion arrangements, priced for travel only.
-
Prepare
You + coordinatorVisa checklists for the patient and attendants, the hospital’s invitation letter, insurance questions, fitness-to-fly guidance from your doctor and what to pack for a longer stay.
-
Book
CoordinatorFlights, stay and transfers are booked, and each confirmation is shown as it is issued. Flexible fares are preferred where treatment dates may move.
-
Arrive
Coordinator on the groundA meeting at arrivals, wheelchair assistance arranged in advance if needed, the transfer to your stay and a first-day orientation: route to the hospital, pharmacy, groceries and a local SIM.

Clinicians decide, we arrangeWhen your treating team confirms you are fit to fly, we rebook if dates moved, arrange assistance at both airports and make sure discharge papers travel in your hand luggage.
The complete guide
Medical travel to India, in five parts.
Everything we know about the travel side of treatment in India, written down in plain language. Visa rules are checked against the official portals and dated.
Visa rules last checked
- How it works, step by step Seventeen steps in three phases, from first enquiry to the follow-up call, with who leads each one.
- India e-Medical visa guide Patient and attendant visas checked against the official portal: documents, timing, fees and e-FRRO.
- Documents and preparation Four document folders, a milestone countdown, medicines, packing and sharing reports safely.
- Recovery and return The recovery stay, fit-to-fly clearance, discharge papers, the flight home and follow-up.
- Companions and families Attendant visas, sharing the load between two companions, and keeping family at home informed.
Arrival
An arrival that feels expected.
Long-haul travel before treatment is tiring. The first hour in India should need no decisions at all.
- A named person meets you at arrivals and stays with you to the vehicle.
- Airline wheelchair assistance requested at booking, from the aircraft door through immigration.
- A transfer chosen for comfort: easy step height, a reclining seat and room for the bags of a longer stay.
- A local SIM and currency sorted on the first day, so family at home can reach you.
Need help on the ground beyond the hospital? See airport transfers and cabs for clinic days.
The stay
A stay chosen for recovery, not just location.
Many treatments mean weeks rather than days, with a companion alongside. We look for a home base rather than a hotel room.
- Road time to the hospital measured at clinic hours, not quoted from a map.
- Step-free entry, lift access, a level-access shower and grab rails, confirmed with photos.
- A kitchenette for dietary requirements, or a kitchen that will cook to them.
- Space for a companion to rest properly, with laundry close at hand.
Privacy and clinical boundaries
Clear lines around your health information.
Medical information deserves more care than a contact form can give. These rules apply to every care journey we arrange.
-
Public forms collect logistics only
Names, contact details, cities, dates and companions. Never diagnoses, reports, scans or prescriptions, so nothing clinical ends up in an inbox it should not.
-
An isolated, secure channel later
When you choose to share records with a hospital, your coordinator sets up a separate, consented channel for your case, limited to the people handling it. You can ask for it to be closed and the data deleted.
-
Clinical advice stays with clinicians
Treatment options, fitness to fly, medication and recovery timelines come from your doctors and the treating hospital. We plan around their advice and never replace it.
India’s medical visas, in brief
The patient travels on an e-Medical visa, and up to two companions on e-Medical Attendant visas issued against it. Only the patient’s application needs the hospital letter. Both are applied for online between 120 and 4 days before arrival, and both allow multiple entries. Nationalities outside the e-Visa scheme apply for a regular Medical visa through an Indian mission.
Checked against the official e-Visa portal (opens in a new tab) on . The full e-Medical visa guide covers documents, fees, validity and e-FRRO, and our visa assistance team prepares a checklist for every traveller in your party.
Start with logistics
A first conversation, nothing clinical.
Tell us the travel basics. A care coordinator replies with next steps and, if you wish, sets up a separate secure channel for anything medical.
- Only non-sensitive travel details are requested here
- A named coordinator, with human support and clear escalation
- Replies in the language you prefer, where we can
Medical travel FAQ
Before you travel for treatment.
Do you recommend hospitals or doctors?
No. We do not make clinical recommendations or rank hospitals. With your consent, we can share publicly available information, such as which hospitals run international patient desks or hold accreditations like NABH or JCI, and connect you with the hospitals you choose. Decisions about treatment and providers stay with you and your doctors.
Can I send my medical reports through this website for a cost estimate?
Please don’t. Public forms on this site collect travel logistics only. Treatment estimates come from hospitals, and when you are ready to share reports, your coordinator sets up a separate, consented channel directly with the hospital’s international patient team.
Which visas do patients and companions need to travel to India for treatment?
Eligible nationalities apply online for India’s e-Medical visa for the patient and the e-Medical Attendant visa for companions, up to two per patient. The patient uploads a letter from the treating hospital in India showing the tentative admission date. Our e-Medical visa guide covers documents, timing, fees and validity, checked against the official portal in October 2026.
Can you arrange a stay close to the hospital with accessible features?
Yes. We shortlist hotels and serviced apartments by realistic road time to the hospital at clinic hours, then verify the details that matter: step-free entry, lift access, a roll-in or level-access shower, grab rails, a kitchenette for dietary needs and room for a companion. Our accessible travel page explains how we verify access.
What happens if treatment dates change?
Treatment schedules often move, so we prefer flexible fares and stays where the cost difference is reasonable, and we show change fees before you choose. If dates shift, your coordinator rebooks flights and extends the stay. The return journey is confirmed once your treating team says you are fit to fly.
Is the cost of treatment included in your quote?
No. Hospitals quote treatment costs directly to you. Our quote covers travel, stays, transfers, visa preparation and coordination, shown separately so you can see what each part costs. Ask the hospital what its estimate includes, such as room category, consumables and follow-up visits.
Care journeys
Your clinicians plan the care. We plan everything around it.
Tell us the city, the month and who is coming with you. A named coordinator takes it from there.
