Accessibility statement
InfiniaTrips aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. Here is what we have built in, what we are still improving, and how to tell us about a problem.
Our commitment
Everyone should be able to plan and book a journey on InfiniaTrips, whatever device, settings or assistive technology they use. Our target is conformance with WCAG 2.2 at level AA across the whole website, including search, planning and booking flows. In India, we also aim to meet the expectations of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.
What is built in
- Keyboard operation. Menus, forms, filters, tabs and planners are built to work with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator.
- A skip link at the top of every page, to jump straight to the main content.
- Clear structure. One main heading per page, headings in a logical order, labelled landmarks and breadcrumbs.
- Labelled forms. Every field has a visible label, and errors are explained in words next to the field.
- Text alternatives that describe what each photograph shows.
- Readable contrast in both the light and dark themes, which you can choose with Worldlight or leave to follow your device.
- Reduced motion. If your device asks for less motion, animations and parallax effects are switched off.
- Reflow. Layouts are designed to adapt to small screens and zoomed text without sideways scrolling.
- Announced updates. Results that change on the page, such as a filtered list or a recalculated total, are designed to be announced to screen readers.
- Visible time limits. Where a live price quote expires, the expiry is shown with it.
Your own settings come first
The website follows the preferences your device already has, including browser zoom, larger default text, dark mode and reduced motion. Language, market and display currency are separate settings, so changing one never changes the others.
Known limitations
This is a new website and we are still testing it. We know that:
- some interactive planning and comparison modules are still being reviewed with screen readers;
- content supplied by others, such as hotel descriptions, supplier documents and e-tickets, may not meet our standard; and
- emails and PDFs generated by suppliers are outside our direct control.
If anything stops you from completing a task, tell us and we will help you finish it another way while we fix the problem.
How we test
We combine automated checks with manual testing: keyboard-only navigation, zoom and reflow, colour contrast in both themes, and screen readers on common combinations such as NVDA on Windows and VoiceOver on macOS and iOS. When an independent audit has been completed, we will publish its date and scope here.
Travelling with access needs
This statement is about the website. For the journey itself, such as wheelchair assistance, step-free rooms, adapted vehicles or travelling with a carer, see accessible travel, where we explain how needs are recorded once and passed to every supplier.
Report a problem
Write to hello@infiniatrips.com with “Accessibility” in the subject, or use the contact form. It helps to include:
- the page address, and what you were trying to do;
- what happened instead;
- your device, browser and any assistive technology you use.
A person will read your message and reply. If you need information from the website in another format, ask and we will provide it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can use the grievance process described in our terms of service.
