Holiday circuit library: route, nights, best months and who each circuit suits
Circuit Route Nights Best months Who it suits Plan
India Kerala backwaters & hills Kochi → Munnar → Thekkady → Alappuzha houseboat → Marari beach The south-west monsoon usually runs from June to September; it suits Ayurveda stays more than sightseeing. 6 Sep–Mar Couples, families and first visits to South India Plan this circuit: Kerala backwaters & hills
India Royal Rajasthan Jaipur → Jodhpur → Udaipur, with an optional desert night near Jaisalmer Afternoons from April to June are very hot, so forts are planned for early mornings. 8 Oct–Mar Heritage lovers, palace stays and milestone celebrations Plan this circuit: Royal Rajasthan
India The Golden Triangle Delhi → Agra for the Taj Mahal at sunrise → Jaipur The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors on Fridays, so Agra never falls on one. 5 Oct–Mar First-time visitors, short breaks and multigenerational families Plan this circuit: The Golden Triangle
India Kashmir, lakes and meadows Srinagar houseboat → Gulmarg → Pahalgam, with a Sonamarg day trip Winter brings reliable snow to Gulmarg; some higher roads close until spring. 6 Apr–Oct · Dec–Feb for snow Couples, families and a first sight of snow for children Plan this circuit: Kashmir, lakes and meadows
Asia Sri Lanka by rail and coast Negombo → Sigiriya & Dambulla → Kandy → hill-country train to Ella → Galle From May to September the beach days swing to the east coast, which is drier then. 8 Dec–Apr Families, rail enthusiasts and wildlife watchers Plan this circuit: Sri Lanka by rail and coast
Asia Classic Japan Tokyo → Hakone → Kyoto, with Nara as a day trip → Osaka Cherry-blossom and autumn-colour weeks fill early, so stays are held months ahead. 9 Mar–May · Oct–Nov First visits, food lovers and confident rail travellers Plan this circuit: Classic Japan
Asia Vietnam, north to south Hanoi → Ha Long Bay overnight cruise → Hoi An → Ho Chi Minh City & the Mekong Delta The central coast is wettest from about September to December, when Hoi An days are shortened. 10 Feb–Apr Food lovers, slow travellers and families with older children Plan this circuit: Vietnam, north to south
Europe & Türkiye Istanbul & Cappadocia Istanbul old city and the Bosphorus → fly to Cappadocia → optional Ephesus via İzmir Balloon flights depend on wind; we keep a second dawn free in case the first is called off. 7 Apr–Jun · Sep–Nov Culture seekers, food lovers and couples Plan this circuit: Istanbul & Cappadocia
Europe & Türkiye Athens & the Cyclades Athens → Naxos or Paros → Santorini by ferry The summer meltemi wind can make July and August crossings choppy; larger ferries are chosen then. 8 May–Oct Couples, honeymoons and unhurried island-hopping Plan this circuit: Athens & the Cyclades
Europe & Türkiye Northern lights, Norway Tromsø → a fjord-side cabin → optional Lofoten islands Sightings depend on clear skies and solar activity, so several dark nights are planned, not one. 6 Oct–Mar Couples, photographers and winter lovers Plan this circuit: Northern lights, Norway
The Americas Patagonia, end to end Buenos Aires → El Calafate → El Chaltén → Puerto Natales & Torres del Paine Strong winds are normal even in summer; Argentina and Chile each have their own entry rules. 12 Nov–Mar Hikers, photographers and once-in-a-lifetime trips Plan this circuit: Patagonia, end to end

FAQ

Holiday circuits, explained.

What is a holiday circuit on InfiniaTrips?

A circuit is a tested route through a region, such as Kochi to the Kerala backwaters or Tromsø to the fjords, with the order of places, nights per stop, stays, transfers and a day-by-day plan already worked out. You use it as a starting point and change anything before you book.

Can I change the order, hotels or number of nights in a circuit?

Yes. Every stop, hotel and night can be edited. When you add or remove a place, drive times and the total update with it, and we flag any day that becomes too long to be comfortable.

Do holiday circuit prices include flights?

The indicative from-price covers land arrangements per person on twin share: stays, private transfers, transport inside the circuit (including internal flights where the route needs them) and the experiences listed as included. Flights from your home city are added as their own line, so you can see exactly what each part costs.

When can you see the northern lights in Norway?

In northern Norway the aurora season runs roughly from late September to late March, when nights are properly dark. From about late April to mid-August the midnight sun makes the sky too bright. Clear skies matter as much as solar activity, so a Tromsø plan includes several evenings and a guided chase that can drive towards clearer weather. No one can guarantee a sighting.

Is the Taj Mahal open every day?

No. The Taj Mahal is closed to general visitors on Fridays, so Golden Triangle itineraries place the Agra visit on another day. Sunrise is usually the calmest time to go. Check the latest timings and ticket rules published by the Archaeological Survey of India before you travel.

What happens if a ferry, houseboat or internal flight is cancelled by the operator?

We rebook the nearest workable alternative, adjust the days that follow and show you any change in cost before it is confirmed. Refunds and fees follow each operator’s published conditions, which are listed with your booking. Travel insurance can cover costs that operators do not.
